She has led national communications for maternal and child health as VP, Communications for the March of Dimes, supporting revenue development, corporate sponsors, government affairs, crisis communications and staff/volunteer training. She also conducted internal/external communications as VP, Corporate Communications for Porter Novelli, an Omnicom Group (NYSE:OMC) subsidiary, including the launch of the PN International brand and PN's first Web site and Intranet.
She has also helped marketing/brand managers and corporate communicators in Fortune companies including Georgia-Pacific, BOC and Sonoco Products, as Senior Account Supervisor at ABI. In California she was VP of The Manion Firm, serving clients in professional and financial services, real estate, health care and entertainment.
She has been a two-term President of the Public Relations Society of America's Westchester/ Fairfield Chapter, has served on State Chapter and Regional Division Boards of the March of Dimes as Communications Chair, and is a former member of the Client Advisory Board of the Council for Public Relations Firms and the Communications Advisory Committee for Iona College. Her work for Yale earned a Gold PRSA Mercury Award.
